Condolence register for the passing of former President of the Republic of Yemen His Excellency Abdul Rabbuh Mansur Hadi

London – 2 June 2026

The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland opened a book of condolences today, Tuesday, at its headquarters in the British capital, London, following the death of a national figure, His Excellency Field Marshal Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, former President of the Republic of Yemen, who passed away after a national career marked by dedication, sacrifice, and service to the country.

Those receiving the mourners included the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the United Kingdom, Dr. Yaseen Saeed Noman, along with members of the diplomatic mission. A number of ambassadors, heads, and representatives of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the United Kingdom attended to offer their condolences, as well as members of the Yemeni community in London.

The mourners expressed their sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Republic of Yemen—its leadership and people—as well as to the family of the deceased, recalling his national contributions and his prominent political and military roles, along with the responsibilities he carried during various key stages and pivotal moments in modern Yemen’s history.

The embassy will continue receiving mourners and keeping the condolence book open on Wednesday and Thursday, 3–4 June 2026, during official working hours at the embassy in London.
